The CUS Benevolent Fund is a new initiative by the CUS Union.
The initial idea was started by Stephen Tonge (union President 2013/15) and has now been followed through and set up by 2016/18 union President, John Cranfield as an official entity .
The Benevolent Fund assistance will be formally launched at the upcoming Annual Dinner on April 12th, but any past pupils who wish to get in contact, may do so at any stage on the confidential email firstname.lastname@example.org
Its primary purpose is to provide support and assistance to fellow CUS Past Pupils and their dependents who need help to recover from a difficult period in their lives.
Support and assistance can be in many forms including financial, health, psychological and social supports amongst others. The trustees of the Benevolent fund may grant financial assistance, professional help, organise a support group or simply provide a new direction as appropriate.
The work is totally confidential to those both providing and those receiving help and assistance.
