Membership proceeds
Membership proceeds are used to facilitate union activities including the holding of events, contribution to various causes including the Hamper fund, the Phillipines fund and contributing tio various aspects of school activity, especially sports.
Part of all membership proceeds is also transferred to the CUS Union Benevolent Fund. The primary purpose of this fund is to provide support and assistance to fellow CUS past pupils and their dependents who need to recover from a difficult period in their lives.
The work of the benevolent fund is totally confidential both to those providing and those receiving help and assistance.
By being a member of the cUS Union, you are ensuring the long term viability of the benevolent fund and ensuring it can help out whenever required without restraint.
