CUS union - Ideas for the future

The CUS union is in good health with good attendances at union events and a strong interested cohort of supporters and committee members.
But rather than rest on our laurels we are looking into the future and we see areas where the union can be made even stronger.
This new website is the start of making the union a regular connection point for past pupils and connecting past pupils together both in a social and professional context.
At recent committee meetings we have looked at adding new events and changing the timing of others, these include
Tag Rugby + Bar B Q
Additional Golf Outing
Business Networking lunch.
Moving annual quiz to early October and relocate to Leinster Cricket Club
We are also putting more work into the creation of the Business Network and offering opportunities to Transition year students for work experience and we hope to have over 100 CUS Past Pupil linked businesses on our Newtork by year end. - If you want your business / professional service added, just send us an email info@cusunion.ie Listing is free for 2016 and we'll just ask for a small donation for 2017 onwards.
Finally, we are working on a support network for past pupils. Its still work in progress and it is something the union plans to launch for the School's 150th anniversary next year - going forward we hope it will be a very important part of the Union.
